A Little Bit About Us:
My name is Carly and I run Dare to Dream Dahl's Kennel and Cattery along with my amazingly supportive husband, Mike. Mike is a dedicated Product Support Manager for an industrial equipment rental company in Edmonton, Alberta. Mike and I recently transferred from Ontario where we grew up, and have started a life here in AB. In June of 2024 we moved to our first ever acreage and have been enjoying life on 10 acres.
I have worked in the animal care industry for over 10 years primarily in facility management, doggy daycare and boarding facilities. I knew from a very early age that working with dogs and cats was my passion and although I went an alternate route for my post secondary education, I knew in my heart I'd always return to my soul role of raising healthy, happy and socialized animals.
Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember and the companionship and healing power of a dog is beyond measure.
It is our mission to raise healthy, quality, socialized and happy purebred Golden Retrievers, purebred Pomeranians, and Ragdoll kittens for loving and dedicated forever homes. For more on our program and how we raise our pups, check out "Our Program"tab.

For the privacy and safety of our family, we do not provide our home address to any clientele under any circumstances. We offer public pick-ups or conveniently drop off at your home address depending on location. We will GLADLY facetime, provide video tours of our set ups and we also post videos and lives regularly. We want to ensure our families have the utmost trust in us, while protecting our puppies from Parvo/parainfluenza and exposing our family to safety risks. When I was a kid and we picked out our first CKC registered puppy, I was so happy to be able to visit however, times have changed and the risk for breeders is much greater. Just last year a breeder in his 70s was gunned down for a litter of puppies. We also have experienced online harassment in 2021 and now do everything in our power to protect our family and animals.
We were previously just outside Toronto but made a major life change in the fall of 2023 moving our entire farm to Alberta Canada.
We do offer to work with flight nannies.
